Our family first meet Matt in 2015 when we were looking for respite care for our genetically disabled family member. Matt showed great empathy and cultural sensitivity. Safety, social and community participation were at the forefront. Matt and the support team safely assisted our loved one for the first ever away from home weekend bus trip to Sydney. On return our loved one had so many good stories about the trip. Matt helped our family navigate the roll out of the NDIS and the Transition for our loved one into a Supported Living arrangement. Our family are truly grateful for the Seven years Matt has shared his professional knowledge. From respite care to the SIL transition. Hand on we could not have done this alone so thankyou Matt from all our family.

Matt was an invaluable part of our introduction to the world of NDIS. His understanding of all aspects of NDIS and disability services helped us to navigate the NDIS and seek out the supports we required. He took a genuine interest in our needs and would follow up regularly to ensure things were going smoothly. His support allowed our son to make decisions for himself and gave us the confidence to step back a little, safe in the knowledge that he had our best interests at heart. Matt was my Support Coordinator when I commenced using NDIS. This was a confusing time for me, and my family and he made things so much easier. Not only did he have answers for our many questions, he also went out of his way to check in and make sure we were going okay. He helped me build my confidence in seeking out the supports that I needed at various stages and to navigate the ups and downs of NDIS. Matt went out of his way to seek out opportunities for me, such as introducing me to the Thomas Hepburn Lennox Scholarship, which I successfully applied for and received funds to assist me with my university fees and textbooks throughout my course. I am extremely grateful for the care he provided.

Matt has supported Bella in various roles since she was very young. He had always shown kindness, professionalism, compassion and a caring approach to Bella and our entire family. Matt has provided individualised, person-centred care, only wanting the best for Bella. Matt is always open to ideas and has continually worked with our family to think outside the box in supporting Bella. Bella has received excellent care and always with warmth and a smile. Matt is highly regarded in our home, and we look forward to working with him in the future for Bella’s supports.

Matt has been our Service Coordinator over the last 4-5 years, for our daughter, Lilly. Matt brings a real personal and empathetic touch and gets to know what his clients need. He was able to find support workers who fit entirely to what Lilly needs. I believe Matt has a real talent in the disability support area, and it’s clear he loves what he does.
